Fixed! Looks like when a link is created without http://, it automatically puts one there in a non-good way.

Well, actually, that's considered a relative URL, gets interpreted by the browser relative to the site and directory the current page is in, and is useful for when you want to build a website with links among multiple pages, images, javascript, css, etc., and still have it work if you rename the site or the directory it's in.
